A Puritan of the 16th or 17th century were a number of different religious groups that were starting to become discontent with the practices of churches in England. The main goal of The Puritans was to try and push a new agenda of religious reform to the Church of England. This was a process of trying to change the reform in order to try and make it more suitable to them maintaining and preserving their religion.
